Help That Is Available

This is a self-help support group, your participation is necessary for this group to succeed. This is a place to come and chat, share helpful information, find a cyber-shoulder to cry on, be a cyber-shoulder to cry on, and to relax and have some fun. We value humor in AN. Basically, you help yourself by being involved.

We have organized a core group of nonprofessional volunteer staff to assist with the more mundane functions of running a talker, and to assist new comers in learning their way around. Sometimes our staff are not always available so we encourage other residents who know their way around Araneum Nostrum to please take time to greet newbies, introduce them to other residents, and show them the 'ropes'.

We would like to stress that our staff are here to assist people to become familiar with the computer program that runs Araneum Nostrum, they are not counsellors.

The Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ) page is a good place to start if you have questions pertaining to our talker. We also have extensive help files within our talker and orientation sessions are held weekly.
